Fire Hydrant Flushing
Please be advised that the Ontario Clean Water Agency will be conducting routine “flushing” of the entire Municipal Water Distribution System starting on Tuesday October 7-10, 2025 (Temagami North) and Tuesday October 14-17, 2025 (Temagami South).
As a result of this process you may encounter some discoloration, rust or sedimentation and/or loss of pressure.
If you notice discoloration wait until the operation is completed and then run your cold water with the aerator removed until the discoloration clears which should take about 15 to 20 minutes, If the discoloration continues wait a little longer to allow settling of the rust/ sediment and then run your taps again.
