Flood Watch & Flood Outlook Issued for Temagami Region – April 25, 2025
April 25 2025The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) has issued a Flood Watch for the Tomiko River Watershed and a Flood Outlook for the broader North Bay District, in effect until May 2, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Residents are advised to monitor conditions closely and take precautions, particularly in low-lying areas with a history of flooding.
Recent rainfall, snowmelt, and saturated ground conditions are contributing to rising water levels. Exercise extreme caution near lakes, rivers, and streambanks, and supervise children and pets around waterbodies.
