We are home to old growth forests, thousands of kilometers of undeveloped lake shorelines, a rich history in mining, tourism and forestry - all at the gateway to northeastern Ontario. The Dream Catcher Train ride from North Bay to Temagami is thrilling more and more people each fall with our remarkably picturesque scenery which is punctuated by majestic white pines, the sentinels of the forest.

Our community is bisected by Trans Canada Hwy 11, ONR railroad, major power/fibre optics transmission lines, and the Trans Canada pipeline. We provide ample opportunity for investment in a resource rich area with all of the physical infrastructure necessary to go big or go small.
