The water levels in most Temagami lakes are down significantly this spring. Net Lake is the only major lake where levels are even close to normal. This has created some challenges for our public works crews to put docks in, and in most cases they have had to delay putting them in altogether. The lake levels will also create challenges for lake residents getting to their own docks. Our public works department will continue to monitor lake levels and make every attempt to get docks in as soon as feasible. We are sorry for any inconvenience, but water levels are beyond our control, and we can only hope that they will be back to normal by summer vacation time.
Council Information Packages are now available for public viewing at the Temagami Public Library / Employment Resource Centre and the Town Office from the Wednesday afternoon before each Council meeting for approximately one month. These packages will also be available at Council meetings for public use.
Individuals or organizations who would like copies of the information packages mailed to them each month may purchase an annual subscription for an annual cost of $150.00 to cover paper, printing and mailing costs. Please contact the municipal office for more details.
